Ubah Hassan was discovered in Canada when a photographer approached her at a park.She has gone from strength to strength and even appeared in the historic issue of Vogue Italia which featured some of the hottest names in the model world.
She held her own among famous names such as Alek Wek, Liya Kebede, Jourdan Dunn, Naomi Campbell etc proving she had what it takes to be a model icon.
She signed with Click Management Agency in New York in 2007 and appeared in Allure magazine in April 2008 after working with the photographer Regan Cameron. She also was the model of the week on Models.com in May of 2008 and in July of 2008 she was one of the models in the black issue of Vogue Italia (not bad for a newcomer). She closed Ralph Lauren’s spring show in New York and is now part of a Ralph Lauren ad campaign. In January 2009, she appeared in the Italian Vogue again, photographed by Bruce Weber.
